Prayer Hour

Sister in Christ, remember Leviticus 6:13, "The fire must be kept burning on the altar continuously; it must not go out." Let this be an anthem for our lives, especially during our Weekly Prayer Hour. We meet on Zoom, every week without fail – a sacred space where we come together with hearts eager to stoke the divine flame that burns within each of us.

"Men ought always to pray and not to faint;" Luke 18:1 reminds us to keep the communication with our Father constant, not growing weary but persisting in prayer. Here, at Women Dream Builders, we touch and agree in the spirit, praying that every sister connected to our circle – and each woman linked to her – may live life to the fullest, walking boldly in her calling and lifting her community.

For the prayers of the righteous are powerful and effective, as declared in James 5:16, igniting change and birthing hope. It's in this divine assembly, with no need to show your face, where your spirit can join in harmony with ours. When we unite in prayer, Matthew 18:20 reassures us that where two or three gather in His name, He is present. And let’s not forget, Proverbs 31:26, “She opens her mouth with wisdom, and the teaching of kindness is on her tongue,” which empowers us to speak light into every shadowed place.

So come, Sis, keep the altar's flame ablaze within your heart, and let's pray with might, knowing our voices ascend straight to the heavens – potent, heartfelt, and unyielding. Bring your hopes, your dreams, your silent screams – for in this hour, your soul’s cries will be heard and cradled in the arms of faith.
